Kdramas 2015-2016

Now, I'm listing my top kdramas of 2015-2016. I remember doing this before but there's a lot of them really. What I do is I keep track of what's running so I keep myself up to date he he he. Effort, guys. Lots of effort. ^_~

Currently, I am watching three korean dramas at the same time but they're all running in episodes 4 and 5 in different channels. So I am still updated ha ha!

But here are my suggestions. I swear I am hard to please when watching kdramas so I stop whenever I don't feel like it. But that depends whatever genre or drama selection you have. 

I am a fan of romcom series, suspense, thriller and action kdramas. I am also a fan whenever I heard that the cast are whom I will ship and have been shipping. 

I want to add Six Flying Dragons here in this list but i'm not yet done with its 50 episodes yet so I'll review another list including it. ^_^

1 ~ SIGNAL

This. Just like Remember, no other kdrama yet, has found its way to my heart. Yes, even DOTS the ever famous one, has not surpassed this series. Signal is very well written, the casting is great, and the story line is unpredictable. It takes you through time, but in the future as well and in the present. It may be a bit confusing but you just don't have to miss a single episode so you'll see Detectives Hae Young and Jae Han communicate through time whenever there's a signal.

Every episode gives you the chills, the mystery, the thrill and tears and happiness. This kdrama has one great storyline, written very effectively and in a different level. You'll be missing half of your kdrama life if you miss this!~

And should I say I like (love) Cho Jin Woong so much (Detective Lee Jae Han) ~^_^~

2 ~ Remember War of the Son

OH. MY. I don't even know how to start. I love this kdrama until the end. A suspense, mystery, revenge story. A story all about Hyperthymesia and life of a father and son. It depicts the purpose of how we live life to its fullest, even to its shortest of times, and to relive and cherish every single memory and how to value them.

It's really sad, heartbreaking, but totally well written. The cast, everyone, even to the smallest role, is very effective. Yoo Seung Ho is a very effective actor and I loved him to bits here. Especially his father Jeon Kwang Leol ~ such a great actor and Nam Goong Min (hands down!). My favorite lawyer too ~ Park Sung Woong ~ I've become a fan. This is one great suggestion to watch!

And oh ~ Nam Goong Min is very handsome and charming as a villain, but whatever. ha ha ha!

3 ~ Reply 1988

Talking about nostalgia. Ok, I wasn't born in 1988 and I'm so young then. But watching Reply 1988, made me realize how it feels to be in that time. 

The setting and the cast will make you feel how living was like in 1988. The production was really all out and most especially, the soundtrack. I love love love all the music and OST from this series. I've been a Reply series fan, from Reply 1997 and 1994. I thought Reply 1994 was already the best (compared to 1997 which I don't personally love except loving Seo In Guk), but Reply 1988 was far more better. 

Family. Love. Friendships. over Time. I just cant get enough of this kseries. 

And the cast. I can't say anything more. I'd even cry listening to the OST again. My heart for Park Jung Hwan and my feels for Park Bo Gum. Just watch it and see.

4 ~ Blood

I love love love this drama. A vampire doctor and a horrific hospital scene every episode. Blood everywhere and a love story too. I love the main cast ~ Ahn Jae Hyun and Goo Hye Sun. Even the supporting cast did great and the story has an interesting storyline you'll get excited about.

I can't tell if I liked how the story ended, but who has not heard Hye Sun and Jae Hyun's love story after filming ended. I'm a big fan of this couple AhnGoo hahaha! Look, our main cast eventually got married in real life. 


5 ~ Mask

The story is a revenge thrilling one and I love how the ending fit on its own. I cannot say whether it is a happy or sad ending but the story is nicely written.

Starring Soo Ae and Ju Ji Hoon, the main cast is totally great. Not to mention the support leads that I also love ~ Yeon Jeong Hun and Yu In Young.
