Etude House Pure Water Baobab

Annyeong~~

After trying out one of Etude House's essence moisturizer, I was so curious with their newest (not so new, now) line of natural facial care.
Baobab and other Etude House skin care I love~

It's the Pure Water Baobab emulsion water moisturizer.
Made of 54% Baobab water from Baobab trees, this line provides healthy skin care with natural ingredients.

It's the first I've tried from this Baobab line and I was not disappointed. It's been more than a month since I opened this and I use this before bedtime and a small amount before make-up in the morning.
the bottle is sealed
This bottle is more than enough for more than a month's use. It is because the consistency is a bit watery and runny.. and once applied on face, i tap it with my palms instead of spreading it using my fingers. I think it absorbs quickly that way and feels supple and soft by tapping.

ingredients and about the moisturiser (in hangeul)

The scent is light, though, not sweet, fragrant or fruity, it even smells faint of a light beer scent for me hehehe.. (weird!) but definitely, does not smell like those with harsh ingredients or alcohol.

The bottle is pink, very girly, and as it is 180ml, it's not too light to carry everyday, too. But the packaging won me over, and the bottle cap is so grand. @_@ Once bottle is opened, the expiry lasts 12 months.

Well, this is an emulsion which how your normal moisturizer works, but I find this great for me. Emulsions should be light to the skin and this is one good example. The 54% water shows why it makes my skin looks moisturized and healthy.
after applying baobab water.. no bb cream yet~

just after applying baobab pure water

Price: 648 php / 180ml
this is a freebie~~ after using this, i actually bought the Pure Aura line (essence, face lotion and peel) and will blog it next~

I'll definitely get another one, and since Etude House has a lot to offer among their emulsion skin care products, it still feels great to know one skin care line you think you're compatible with.
this is how my etude skin care line looks like~~~ cuz Im an EH girl! ^_~

Beautylabo Creamy Ash Review

It's been a while since my last blog update. Whew! Summer is over. Time flies so fast.

Lately, I discovered another weakness I have, aside from my fondness of korean skin care and make up. I love these DIY hair coloring products and I blogged one before ~ the bubble hair color from one of my favorite korean stores.

I tried two shades already until I came across one of these japanese brands on sale for half the price. I checked the reviews and blogs and got so interested to get one and try it.
from left: 2 creamy ash and raspberry pink
It's from Beautylabo haircolor. Not the typical bubble color that I'm used to, Beautylabo hair color is a shampoo-like do-it-yourself hair color, you let it stay for 30 minutes before washing it off, plus it comes in 8 different shades:
honey blonde, creamy ash, dark brown, candy apricot, natural black, raspberry pink, pure beige and natural blonde

The other shades are not available, and the one that I am eyeing was creamy ash. My hair color is now dark brown though under lighting it looks lighter so I am aiming a bit of a darker shade now.
The steps are easy: Just mix the 1 colorant and 2 developer. Shake it up and down and not left to right about 30 times and until the color is mixed. Put on the hand gloves and apply to dry hair from the roots.
inside the box: cream colorant, cream developer, hand gloves and hair treatment

It kinda has that a bit of a smell to me but it was manageable and only took 30-40 minutes before rinsing it off. Use the hair treatment conditioner as the final step. Even without the conditioner, my hair feels soft already after washing off because this product has almond oil and coconut w/c makes hair smoother and softer.

BEFORE:

These are all taken with room lighting and no flash.
the black roots are showing
i love this shade of brown on my hair but it just needs retouching now~

I only used 1 box and it was just enough for my hair. The other boxes are not my own, my sister bought two shades for her. ^^)~

AFTER:

Still, room lighting.
this does not look ashy for me.. just a bit darker and even...

the roots are now even
It was easy to use, affordable and it colored my hair well. As I am used to applying hair colors on my own that's why I make sure it is evenly applied as possible.

This product is a thumbs-up for me. In case I'll be buying the same product, I'll try the pure beige or raspberry pink next.
