My Best Girl Groups 2014... v ^_^ v

So, before the year ends, I have to give a take on my favorite albums, songs, groups and k-series for 2014.

I have been a fan of girl groups and has been listening to a lot of their songs lately.
Here's my top 3 so far...

3. CRAYON POP ~ I love their songs and dance choreography. Very fresh, simple and colorful. Their songs Dancing Queen, Bar, Bar, Bar and Uh-ee are my favorites.
this last photo is their concept for 'Uh-ee' album

2. SNSD (So Nyeo Shi Dae / Girls Generation) ~ These 9 girls are so adorable and I'm a big fan of Kid Leader Taeyeon and Yoona!~ OMG! ♥♥♥
I love their songs and as I've seen them grow from their debut up to now~ I still like them!

I admit that from their make up and hairstyles up to their fashion statement, these adds as well why they're on my second place.

From all of their songs ~ there's a lot ~ I love Run, Devil, Run, Gee, Genie, The Boys and Mr. Mr. And from their Mr. Mr album, I love the songs Goodbye and Wait A Minute.

1. SISTAR ~ I so adore these 4 girls and yes, they're on top of my list. I always admire and love Hyorin, Bora, Soyou and Dasom so much I even have all of their songs in my playlist.

First, their songs, and then their sexy dance moves and choreography but still sweet and playful aura is what I can't get over whenever they release their new albums and songs.

My favorite songs from SISTAR are Ma Boy, Give It To Me, So Cool, Alone, Loving You and Touch My Body.

Skin Food: Black Sugar Mask Wash Off ~

My friend went back to Korea (it's her nth time now) hahaha! and I can't miss the chance so I asked her to buy Korean cosmetics for me.

Part of these haul was my sister's. She wants to get the black sugar mask wash-off from Skin Food. This is one of the most popular scrubs in Korea and the effective one as well.

She got this and I was so eager to try, when I did, it's been a weekly skin care for me, as I'm home every weekends only (I work from afar) ~ we both are sharing the product. I'll be buying one as well once this runs out,,, hah~!
sealed and has a cover
The Skin Food Black Sugar Mask Wash-Off has black sugar scrubs and has a sweet sugary scent. The scrubs are so mild and not too abrasive compared to other exfoliant scrubs.

It removed unnecessary dead skin cells effectively plus the minerals and vitamins will give vitality to your skin. I can say this is highly recommended.

After applying this as a mask, leave it for 15-20 minutes, then wash it off. I can feel the small sugar particles when scrubbing and after wash, it feels soft, supple and the glow is there.
hangeul + english instructions and ingredients
I applied the product and left it for 20 minutes now~ the sugar melts away kekeke ^^)
I love how this scrub works and a tub lasts a bit longer as well. This can be bought from Skin Food boutiques or online and approximate price is around 800 pesos. ^^~

I'm just hoping they have lots of branches here in the Philippines especially in the provincial areas.

Here's a great review of this product blogged by my sister: www.thecuteanddainty.com ~ skin food black sugar wash off review v^~^v

Etude House ~ Hot Style Bubble Hair Coloring Natural Brown

Hi there chinggus! Im back! Annyeong~

It’s almost 6 days before Christmas and I was thinking of blogging my latest haul first before the main event of the year.

So, I got a new hair color again and I was curious of a do it your own color style.  So after visiting other blogs, I decided to get one from Etude House. The reviews are good and I am so excited to try one myself.
Left: without flash / Right: with flash
This is their Etude House Bubble Color in Natural Brown. They got a lot of options to choose from.
lots of color options~ (omg~ i love that sweet orange too)
And because I had a chestnut brown hair color before, I decided to opt for a lighter one. I got my own in Natural Brown.
what's inside the bubble color box..
The box is in a cute packaging and Hangeul instructions. No English but there are icons what to do and the step by step process.

Pair of plastic gloves and plastic cape is included + a sachet of hair treatment so you’ll get that silky soft feeling even after coloring your hair.

So start by mixing the sachet 1 to bottle 2 (color developer) and twist the bottle side by side but don’t shake it. At least 5-6 times and there, you can take off the stopper from the bottle. You can feel the heat from the bottle so you know it's time to apply. ^_^

Once you pump, you’ll get bubble like an ordinary shampoo, and apply it on your dry hair like a shampoo as well. Start from the roots to the tips and make sure you cover everything.
After that, wait for at least 30-40 minutes before washing your hair.

The color would turn out right away after wash and you’ll see the effects. Sometimes, my hair turns out light brown or golden brown, I love it!

BEFORE:
Here are my photos before applying the bubble color. I got a chestnut brown hair color.

the black hair roots are growing out
here's the side with flash
AFTER:
Day by day, it becomes different, turns lighter and nicer compared to the first day I applied and it doesn't smell of ammonia. It turns so soft after using the hair treatment – step 3 as the last step.
after shower taken with flash~ the color is already obvious

1 DAY AFTER:

with flash ~ i love the color now! kinda golden brown is what I'm aiming for

My hair color now turns different when outdoor light strikes or when I'm indoor and I like how it turned out really great. Yes, not very even but it changed my hair color entirely from the last time.

this photo was taken in the office ~ I'm at the far right... and see my hair color is super light under sun light~
I am now curious of the other colors and might try out others next time – I am eyeing the Sweet Orange or the Dark Brown one. I’ll make sure to blog that as well. ^^~

Nature Republic ~ Soothing and Moisture Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

I went shopping with my friend and I just so happened to pass by Nature Republic ~ where EXO and SNSD Taeyeon are the beauty endorsers. Of course, I should be hooked right away. I’m a totally big fan of SNSD’s leader Taeyeon and a noona fan of these EXO Boys ~ EXO-M and EXO-K.

One of the latest craze in Korea now is the Aloe Vera Gel and even in the mask versions. So, I grabbed one and of course, another bonus! I bought this EXO limited edition aloe vera mask sheet 3d. Ha ha ha! My fangirl heart!
with EXO on the mask cover sheet ~ the main reason why I bought this hahaha!
They say this aloe vera gel has a lot of benefits and use aside from it being 92% pure aloe vera extracts. Here are the best ways to use the Soothing Aloe Vera Gel.

It's comes in one big tub! ^_^
I’d say I love the smell, it feels so natural and fresh.  The gel is a relaxing one, I apply it on my face before my night moisturizer or you can leave it as the moisturizer itself. It also feels refreshing especially on my eye circles. At night, I use this as an alternative to lotion and as a hair moisturizer.

it has a dewy and cold feel and once applied looks shiny.
It’s so cool having this as part of your stash because it clearly gives you a lot. It just feels heavier if you’ll bring it anywhere. I’d also suggest you use a small spatula (in my case, my sister gave me one from her blogging world) so it’s not too messy and still hygienic to use.

I’d recommend this as a must-have and it is very affordable (won’t be more than 300 pesos).

The Face Shop ~ Volcanic Clay

I’m back for another Korean skin care product and I’m excited to blog my latest haul.

Part of my evening routine is using a nose strip one to two times a week to get rid of my whiteheads and blackheads. I've tried a few and I only loved the one from The Face shop Volcanic Clay nose strips. But since it’s been the nth time already and still sold out, I need to get the alternative.
The Face Shop Volcanic Clay: with hangeul instructions
Still from The Face Shop, I bought this Volcanic Clay in tube. The same with the nose strips version but this one is the clay mask you apply then strip it after 30 minutes or once it dried out.
It is sealed just like most korean products
I use this every weekend as I’m off on those days. The result is almost the same but because it’s a bit sticky when applied and you need to make sure it’s dried before peeling, it’s not hassle-free.

The good thing is it costs only 299 pesos (or something) and it lasts longer depending on how much or how thick you apply it. This is if you compare it to the nose strip box with 7 srips and costs 199 pesos.

I’d say I’ll still choose the nose strip ones but I will still purchase this if the other is not available. The smell is nice and I’m all fine waiting while watching Running Man before peeling my volcanic clay strips. He He! Try this out as well.

Etude House ~ Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam Review

Annyeong!!!~ So I just went to Etude House last month and came up with this BB cleanser with baking powder. It's quite interesting because I was on a hunt on a sugar scrub but it was sold out (from another korean beauty store) so I tried this one.
Etude House BB Deep Cleansing Foam
like all other korean products - it is sealed
It says BB Deep Cleansing Foam and has the natural ingredients including lemon and baking powder. It was really interesting so I bought one. I love it's mild scent and texture.
hangeul information at the back
One tube goes a long way. I only need a pea size amount and it deeply cleanses my face. I can also feel the mild scrubs that gently exfoliates my skin. This left my face clean but still a bit moisturized because the scrubs aren't too harsh. My skin also didn't feel dry.
there's mild bits of baking powder once you spread it
I bought this around 398 pesos and I think it's quite affordable since you can use it for a long time (months, I mean). After using this, that's when I use to exfoliate 2-3 times a week (the sugar scrub I'm aiming for) followed by your favorite essence and moisturizer.

Now, my day and night moisturizers did not come from Etude House, I'll be reviewing these after a month's use. I bought them from Robinsons and I wanna try both ~ the pink flower design is the day moisturizer and the lavender one is the night bottle. Though, I've been using Human Heart Nature's night moisturizer last time and finished a bottle. And it was great!
