Etude House Lovely Freebies~

hi there!!!

If you have been following my blog posts, you sure have come across a lot of posts about my skin care products.

So every time I buy korean skin care and make up goods, I always
get freebies. Well, that is if you've spent at least 500 php, then you get a freebie.. same goes if you pay a thousand pesos and so on. The more amount you spend is equal to the worth of freebie you get.

It's different in Korea because there, you get a freebie everytime you purchase even one item. Or maybe it's just based on my experience... hehehe...

Oh well, I guarantee you that each freebie is worth a try. That actually gives me an idea if the product is good for me or how effective it is.

Here's a few of what I got for freebies.

These green tea nose strips from Etude House are one of my favorites. I used to purchase my nose strips though from another korean brand but I find these strips from Etude House also working perfectly fine for me.

The Super Collagen moistfull essence is a sample from the Super Collagen line. See, this gave me an idea to start with the Moistfull Collagen line because upon using this sample.. I knew it is great for my skin.

It gives a soft, dewy feel and it has collagen and baobab as part of the ingredients. I don't see any alcohol content ~ as what this collagen line claims. It has natural ingredients and non alcohol contents that makes it safe to use on sensitive skin.

As collagen is its main ingredient, it has anti-wrinkle properties and makes the skin healthy, younger and glowing.

The freebies depends on the month and whatever line Etude House is promoting. So, apart from the freebies, you get points if you're a member whenever you buy there, sign up now if you're not yet one, and be a princess. You deserve it! *smile*

Etude House Pearl Aura Brightening: Fall in Brightening Kit

annyeong!~

I've been blogging my lovely korean skin care lately. I just can't get enough of how cute stuffs Etude House can still give.

So this time... it's my Pearl Aura Brightening Kit. I mentioned from one of my previous blogs that I received a sample of a Pearl Aura Brightening Essence and it was effective.

I said so because I used the sample after a week of staying in the province down south of the country. It was totally hot and I got few sun burned spots even in my face.
The sunblock I was using may not be super effective and so when I came back in the city... I can't imagine getting a bit of a dark skin. It takes time to return to my real skin color.

So I tried the sample essence and only after two weeks, I saw the difference. Truly.. I have delicate skin but this really impressed me. My face color turned bright and glowing at the same time whitened the dark spots.

This made me buy the entire kit, as they have the trial kit for this skin care line ~ it has the following and all in the trial sizes: 50 ml bottle

1) Pearl Aura Peeling Softener
2) Pearl Aura Brightening Essence
3) Pearl Aura Brightening Essence Lotion

This kit costs 875 php. And trust me.. it is really worth the price. This kit is good for a month or two and is supposed to be a trial kit. They sell the individual products at a larger size than the ones included here.

all of them are sealed and takes 12 months to expire after opening them
As it says... this kit completes my night skin care routine. They all have the same light powdery scent.

First, the Pearl Aura Peeling Softener. Spread a small amount on dry face and softly rub in a circular motion. You'll feel the dirty layer of the skin peeled slowly.
~ peels away dead skin cells and gives skin a healthy, clean feeling
~ I dont use this every night.. it is enough to use at least two to three times a week
~ it has a very light feeling even if it is used for peeling
~ skin turns soft but clean after wash
this is how the peeling softener looks like once spread a bit
Afer the peeling softener, wash your face and pat dry.

Next step is the Pearl Aura Brightening Essence.
~ it has pearl particles that deeply moisturizes skin
~ very light and non sticky when applied on the face
~ just a small amount on my palms, and I tap it all over my face until it's absorbed
here's the brightening essence feel once it is spread on skin
Lastly, use the Pearl Aura Brightening Essence Lotion.
~ this is amazingly posh, gives you the glowy and dewy look at night
~ it has these pinkish, silvery particles that makes the skin shiny
~ non sticky and absorbs fast
~ it gives a healthy look on my face
here's the essence lotion, you can see the sparkly pinkish silver on the cream
once it's spread on the skin, it gives a shiny sparkling effect
I totally love everything in this kit and if there is another kit like this, I'd get the same again. I'm not sure if this is only introductory for this product line but I can say it is also affordable.
I used all three products before taking this selfie and there's no filter.. it just gives me that glow after using them

Though after using the kit.. I'm sure I wont regret buying each product separately. Among the three, I'd choose the Pearl Aura Brightening Essence because I'm totally a big fan of essences, face mist and cream.

After purchase, I got this freebie which was a great sample too. This is a new line - the age defense line and I got this essential emulsion. I now have the kit of this new line which I'll be blogging soon. I'll be using this new line as I'm about to finish the pearl aura kit this week. yay!!!

Visit Etude House now and look for this line. It's super worth it for princesses like us.

Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in Peach Parfait

Hi!!!~

I just blogged about my Etude House BB Cream last time and this time, I'll blog the product I bought together with that BB cream. It's my Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher.

I have been using only the lip and cheek tints for my lips and sometimes on my cheeks ~ I'm not a fan of blush-ons and cheek make ups, actually. but when I saw these lovely colors and packaging from Etude house, I bought one right away.

I got mine in #10 shade ~ Peach Parfait. Their bestseller shade though, the Grapefruit Jelly (#6) was sold out at that time. Since I'm a fan of orangey make-up and peach shades, as they say, it fits my skin tone, then I tried this one.

I've got a lip tint and lipstick in orange shades, so getting a peach shade of blusher is fine. This blusher is really lovely and has a natural shade that gives a natural yet slightly blushed look on me.

It comes with a cute puff which is replaceable. You can buy a new puff for this cookie blusher from Etude House if you think it needs replacement after months of using it.
my blusher with the old puff so I bought a new puff~
my cookie blusher with its new puff~ looks clean and new again
It is girly and it adds a bright pop of color to my cheeks.

There's a lot of shades to choose from so get one now. I'm sure every girl would want something cute like this in their beauty pouch.

Available in all Etude House stores.

Etude House Precious Mineral Bright Fit BB Cream

So, it's been a while since I last posted anything. Good thing is I had the time to use these korean products I love before sharing my thoughts about them.

I've been waiting to share my thoughts about my favorite bb cream from Etude House ~ it's the Precious Mineral Bright Fit BB cream in N02 which is their lightest shade. I've always used the lightest shade because of my skin tone whenever I buy korean beauty products. This is the second tube of this bb cream I've used.

I tried quite a few BB creams and the only best ones for me are from two different korean stores ~ The Face Shop and Etude House. Some BB creams I've tried, I may have used them after two weeks before giving them away as it may have affected my sensitive skin.

This BB cream has natural ingredients which won't harm the skin plus I get a lot of benefits. This tube goes a long way as I use a very minimal amount of cream, I started using this since March and I'm about to finish this tube now. I think this will last before this year ends.

The tube has 12 months expiry once the product is opened. See the icon at the back to check how many months it can be used.

Etude house BB Cream has the following claims:
- SPF 30
- anti-wrinkle
- whitening an anti-darkening

* It prevents skin from becoming oily / dull by controlling sebum balance
* Has natural anti-oxidant powder giving you vivid and clean skin tone
* Has pearl ingredient extracts for whitening and giving a brightening effect
* Has seaweed extract for moisturizing effects

The tube is hygienic as it has a pump so I can control the amount to use on my face and neck. Since I'm a fan of dewy effects and not a matte finish, I use moisturizer first before this bb cream and at intervals, I spray a face mist on my face. Some would prefer not too dewy finish, so it is manageable.

I love the scent and especially the finish off look it gives me.

I would definitely purchase a third one and it is not too expensive which is also a plus to everyone who loves this product. It costs around 895php (it's not exact, I think but approximately). And it lives up to my expectations.

The Face Shop: Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam

I just finished my facial wash / foam cleanser from one of my favorite shops and I realized I have never tried one from The Face Shop. When me and my sister visited the store 2 months ago (I remember, yes, it's around May)... we came upon the store's weekend promo 1+1 facial cleanser and the face masks 3+3 for their natural face mask line.

So, as a fan of TFS, we bought these beauties. The Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam in acerola and aloe vera. The face masks also was a big hit so I bought 6 in total ~ making it 12. I love promos and thanks to that, The Face Shop!!!

Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam
PHP price: 265

The store has a monthly promo so always visit their instagram and facebook page for more updates.

Sadly, the acerola cleanser I am using from another korean store was perfect so when I used this from TFS, I had breakouts for 2 weeks of use, ending up giving this to my sister.
foam cleansers and the natural masks from The Face Shop

But the masks are jjang, it does have some parabens though, but as I use it twice a week only as an alternative to night creams and moisturizers, I think it's fine. I also bring face masks when I travel so it's way too handy as well.

I am looking forward to using the aloe vera cleansing foam so I can see if that would fit my skin compared to the acerola. Still, I love The Face Shop skin care line as it always hydrates my skin and has natural ingredients, too.

The Face Shop Lip Tint: My Lips Eat Cherry Aqua Tint

After using a tinted lip balm from one of my favorite korean stores, I was interested trying a lip tint with an applicator this time.

Lip tints are always a lip color craze in every korean shop I visited. They got cute packaging and some have sleek styles. They come in different shades, scents and even sizes.

I bought one from The Face Shop as they have the right color I'm planning to bring everyday in my bag. It's My Lips Eat Cherry aqua tint from the Lovely Me-ex line.

Because it's a tint with an applicator, it's hygienic cause you dont need to use your fingers when applying it. Plus, you can control the amount applied, it can be a lighter to a darker shade, whichever you prefer.

It's a lip and cheek tint so it comes very handy.

This aqua lip tint comes in three tint shades:

Juicy Cherry
Juicy Red
Bloody Red

I got mine in Juicy Red.
Price: 225 / 5g

This shade is just perfect for my everyday use, for retouching, and even for night outs or dinner with friends.

I love how I can apply it full on my lips or just gradient. On my cheeks, you need to spread it right away as it dries out fast.

The size is just right, fits into any pocket or bag, the taste is like a bit of cherry and the packaging is simple and stylish.
L: Juicy Cherry R: Juicy Red
the back has hangeul and english
This cutie is very affordable and a small amount goes a long way. I mean, for me, it's not the only shade of lip tint or lipstick I use everyday.
Once opened, this lip tint lasts for 12 months and look~ I've been using this for months (approx 4mos) and I've almost used half of it.

I definitely will get one again after I finished this.
here's what I got from the 1+1 promo last month
The Face Shop recently had a 1+1 promo for their lip tints so I got mine in Juicy Cherry and Juicy Red. yay!!!~
As the tints can dry the lips, you can also put a balm or gloss over it. Here's my lip buddies I'm very fond of.

Pixy: random blog~

Have I mentioned that my sister is a blogger? Hehehe.. so when her box of those blogged products came, she gave me a few to try.

And I got these...
My Pixy lipstick and pressed powder.

I've used the powder for quite some time now for retouching and to avoid an oily skin during the day.

The shade is a peach one which just fits me right and does not appear cakey on my face. Though, I must admit I am not into face powders and I prefer the glossy look on my face rather than a matte finish. But, this is always a back up.

I like the packaging and the colors as well.
I think it is quite interesting to blog these as they look cute.

The lipstick has a peachy shade perfect for summer. I just dont have swatches (sorry!) because after frequent use, I never got to blog this until now.

Etude House Pure Water Baobab

Annyeong~~

After trying out one of Etude House's essence moisturizer, I was so curious with their newest (not so new, now) line of natural facial care.
Baobab and other Etude House skin care I love~

It's the Pure Water Baobab emulsion water moisturizer.
Made of 54% Baobab water from Baobab trees, this line provides healthy skin care with natural ingredients.

It's the first I've tried from this Baobab line and I was not disappointed. It's been more than a month since I opened this and I use this before bedtime and a small amount before make-up in the morning.
the bottle is sealed
This bottle is more than enough for more than a month's use. It is because the consistency is a bit watery and runny.. and once applied on face, i tap it with my palms instead of spreading it using my fingers. I think it absorbs quickly that way and feels supple and soft by tapping.
ingredients at the back
ingredients and about the moisturiser (in hangeul)

The scent is light, though, not sweet, fragrant or fruity, it even smells faint of a light beer scent for me hehehe.. (weird!) but definitely, does not smell like those with harsh ingredients or alcohol.

The bottle is pink, very girly, and as it is 180ml, it's not too light to carry everyday, too. But the packaging won me over, and the bottle cap is so grand. @_@ Once bottle is opened, the expiry lasts 12 months.

Well, this is an emulsion which how your normal moisturizer works, but I find this great for me. Emulsions should be light to the skin and this is one good example. The 54% water shows why it makes my skin looks moisturized and healthy.
after applying baobab water.. no bb cream yet~

just after applying baobab pure water

Price: 648 php / 180ml
this is a freebie~~ after using this, i actually bought the Pure Aura line (essence, face lotion and peel) and will blog it next~

I'll definitely get another one, and since Etude House has a lot to offer among their emulsion skin care products, it still feels great to know one skin care line you think you're compatible with.
this is how my etude skin care line looks like~~~ cuz Im an EH girl! ^_~
