The Face Shop Collagen Water Firming Moisture Mist

I'm back with a review of the second face mist I've tried from The Face Shop. Sad that I was not able to write a review about the first one which was The Face Shop Jeju facial mist.

They re branded their facial mists and added a few selection so it will be compatible to different types of skin.

The Face Shop Collagen Water Firming Moisture Mist is my option as it holds moisture within plus the collagen features and ingredients to make the skin firmer yet fresher is a catch.

Price: 350 php / 60ml bottle

The bottle is not refillable and to be disposed after use. The instructions say do not shake the bottle before spraying the mist and spray it a few centimeters away from the face.

It makes the skin hydrating within the day and keeps it firm too. It was great that it can be used even with make up on. I like the pink and white bottle too. 

Etude House Princess Mirror

This is not a review but I want to share what I got from Etude House last time I purchased my beauty haul ~ it was a freebie if the total purchase was up to 2k (2000 php).

It is a handy princess-y mirror ~ pink and elegant! isn't it. i'm so glad to have purchased those products and got a nice freebie too! It is totally one elegant and fancy item to bring anywhere. I love it!~

I love how it says at the back 'All of you are born as a princess' ^_^

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Review

Being a fan of moisturizing products, I live up to its benefits and what it can also do to make my skin glowing and healthy.

I tried one collagen product from Etude House and came up with tons of good feedback about how collagen works on the skin.

Etude House has been famous with their Moistfull Collagen skin care which has been ongoing for years. I am personally using almost all of their collagen products and I am always loving it.

Collagen Masks - 58 php (no photos, sorry~)
Moistfull Collagen eye concentrate - 898 php
Moistfull Collagen essence - 798 php
Moistfull Collagen emulsion - 728 php

I tried the face masks before especially after using nose strips or exfoliating, it is more effective as it seals the pores and makes it moisturized and tight within giving the skin firmness and glow. This was one tip an Etude House staff told me before.

I bought the skin care in each bottle every time the stores has the stock and told myself I will give the collagen skin care line a try. And it worked.

I can say after months of using them, it is effective as it gave my skin a healthy looking glow and I think consistently using it makes it even better.

I got the eye cream from Super Collagen line, Moistfull Collagen essence and Moistfull Collagen emulsion.

The eye concentrate is a bit thicker cream and a pea sized amount goes a long way. It lasted me 5 months of using it. I apply it around my eyes and I think it just minimized small wrinkles under but I cannot say it lightened the dark circles. I don't really have those dark circles but I tend to have them when I lack sleep, of course, when working over over over time. Ha ha ha!

One of the reasons why I keep moisturizing products at bay is because my work environment (cold office) and outside (warm, hot sometimes, tropical country we have) and stress (from work and loads of work) makes my skin dry.

I never gave up on essences and creams of course. So, with this Moistfull Collagen essence, I apply it at night religiously and I felt and saw the difference. Even friends noticed and mentioned it once or twice I got dewy and glowing skin.

The last step after the essence, I have the Moistfull Collagen emulsion to seal the first products and help deeply moisturize my skin. This emulsion is lighter than the essence and has a watery or more liquid consistency if compared to essence which is a bit heavy - like a lotion, only applied to the face.

Creams are the last step on the skin care and I apply it very seldom as they use to be a bit heavy for me. But lately, I use the Moistfull Collagen cream which I just bought from Etude House. It deeply nourishes and completes my collagen skin care at night.

Etude House Mascara Remover

After a whole day in the office with make up on, I need a mild, gentle but of course, a one-shot make up remover.

I got to try this Etude House Mascara Remover for a one shot clean. Not only for eye make up and mascara, it is also effective to wipe away my face make up. I use it really for eye make up but just a very small amount for the face.

Price: 198 php / 80 ml 

Very effective. 

I had a 25 ml travel bottle here because I got a trial size when I bought products from Etude House before and purchased 500 php worth that time, I think. 

I just bought my third bottle of this mascara remover ~ take note that it is always sold out in my favorite Etude House store. So whenever they have few in stock I buy two bottles if the one I'm using is already half a bottle. I am the type to make sure one is reserved ~ I don't like that feling when I ran out of stash. ^_~

It comes in a pink and clear bottle and in one size only. 

But this bottle comes a long way. For everyday use, it is very mild and safe and it takes away the make up in one shot. 

Shake the bottle first before using it so the pink liquid at the bottom is well mixed with the clear substance. It is non greasy and it felt some sort of an oil but watery too. 

I came up with the ingredients from Etude house page.

Cyclopentasiloxane, Water, Hydrogenated Poly (C6-14 Olefin), Dipropylene Glycol, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Sodium Chloride, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Allantoin, Betaine, Benzophenone-4, Butylene, Glycol, Alcohol Denat, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance(Parfum), Red 4 (Cl 14700), Blue 1 (CI 42090)

Notice that there are parabens in this product but since it is used on the eyes and just a remover, no harm i think on that. It is also washed off after since this remover is used before all the skin care steps we do at night. 

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner

I have been a fan of moisturizing products and honestly, I'm not the one to try using toners a lot. I'm used to cleansing foams and facial wipes before following my skin care routine at night.

But my sister mentioned this to me and even one of my friends second the motion, that Etude House has a freshener / toner that does not leave the skin dry before skin care and thus have all the benefits in one. (ok, the spelling for freshener on this product is 'freshner' - so we'll use that instead).

So I got mine in a 250 hug bottle ~~ Etude House Wonder Pore freshner.

My friend claims she use nose strips less often than before after trying this wonder pore freshner and she's using her second bottle now. My sister also confirmed this claim.

It has a menthol feel and the scent is very mild and does not smell of alcohol like any other toners or fresheners. This 250 ml bottle is big but there is an even huge bottle I think in 500 ml. ^_^

I love the packaging ~ as I always expected from Etude House. And I totally love the color. hahaha! 

I have finished my 2nd bottle now and I'd say it is effective. However, I do have blackheads (not too serious ones though) and I am using nose strips less these days, too. It did not totally wiped out all of my blackheads and tightened my pores. But it just worked fine for me.

I can recommend this product especially for blackheads and skin with clogged pores ~ it is effective and refreshing so give it a try now~ ^_~

Etude House Age Defense Skin Care Kit

After purchasing my beauty haul from Etude House, this came as a freebie. It has a sophisticated and elegant packaging and design and I'm excited to use it.

I just felt great sharing this as they have a new line - it's the age defense skin care line.

It was so generous for a freebie like this as it is complete - though it is a trial kit. I still get to feel the introductory part of this line by using it.

It has the three products that completes the steps.

* Age Defense Essential Softener
* Age Defense Essential Emulsion
* Age Defense Firming Cream

The Essential Softener and Essential Emulsion comes in a 15ml bottle and a screw cap while the Firming Cream comes in a 10ml pot.

Essential Softener is a clear gel that softens my skin and the first step to skin care. It feels soft and leaving skin supple after application.

Essential Emulsion is slightly thick and pinkish lotion and has a nice scent ~ it is like applying lotion to my skin.

Firming Cream is a thick light pink cream that deeply nourishes my skin and feels like sealing in the first two products applied.

The kit gave me a healthier skin and deep moisturizing after effect. But this lasted me a month of using it every night. Thumbs up! I was awed with this skin care line and among the three my favorite is ~ the essential emulsion.

Etude House Every Month Cleansing Foam

Etude House has a collection of 12 different types of facial cleansing foams and they call it Etude House Every Month Cleansing Foam. Each has different characteristics, ingredients and style but all aims to take care and give an impression of moisturized and healthy skin. 

Each one is suitable for different skin conditions and once opened lasts for at least 6 months. There's a lot to choose from and play etude!

I bought mine in number 1: Deep Moisturizing with shea butter and avocado being the January month.
I am a fan of moisturizing products and every bit that has water and moisture in it. ^_^

Not sure what type of cleanser to get? Here's a table to check what you think suits best. Or you can also pick up a couple of them to use after you finished your first tube.

I felt it mild and soft and not too harsh on my skin. It has a nice scent as well and very soft texture - sort of a cream type. Definitely worth buying and giving a try!~
